Who is Rolin McQuade?

In my own journey, I’ve come to realize that the best coaches are those who can truly empathize with their clients, and I believe I possess this quality thanks to the extensive experiences I’ve accumulated over the past 12+ years as a dedicated trainee and 8 years as a personal trainer. These years have been a rich tapestry of diverse experiences that have equipped me with the ability to genuinely understand and relate to my clients.

I’ve traversed the spectrum, from being skinny to building a muscular physique, from feeling weak to cultivating strength, and from moments of feeling invincible to times when my body felt fragile and worn. This journey has exposed me to the highs and lows of fitness, and it’s through this rollercoaster ride that I’ve gained invaluable insights.

To become the best trainer I can be, I’ve pursued countless courses, learned from a multitude of peers, including chiropractors, physiotherapists, fellow trainers, massage therapists, and more. I’ve immersed myself in studying film footage of my clients, meticulously analyzing their progress and results. All of this has been in pursuit of a single goal: to discover how to best assist my clients on their unique fitness journeys.

I am committed to providing my absolute best for each and every client I work with. While I don’t claim to have all the answers, I’m confident enough to acknowledge when I don’t know something and am always willing to refer you to a trusted colleague who can help. After all, as the saying goes, “Teamwork makes the dream work.”

My coaching priorities are clear and unwavering: First and foremost, I want to ensure that you can move your body with confidence throughout your lifetime. I am dedicated to instilling habits that guarantee lasting results. I believe in teaching you the fundamental principles of exercise, so you not only understand but also experience the significant positive impact it can have on your life when done consistently and efficiently. Additionally, I tailor your training to cater to the specific needs of your body and mind.

I take pride in the fact that I’ve successfully tackled many of the challenges my own body has presented, and I’ve had the privilege of helping numerous clients do the same. My strengths lie in increasing strength, mobility, and resolving movement issues. I’m here to assist you in making these strengths your own as well. Let’s work together to achieve your fitness goals and unlock your full potential.

CHECK OUT WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

Coach Rolin has a holistic approach to help me reach my health and fitness goals. He takes into account all aspects of my life (physical, mental, time constraints, etc) to guide me to make long lasting, and sustainable lifestyle changes. He adapts my workouts accordingly (for example, if I have a tiring work day), without losing sight of the end goal. Most importantly, I have a lot of fun!

Albert Wong

Rolin is educational, supportive, and strategic. He explains the functionality of each drill, which helps buy-into why I’m doing that exercise and how it will lead to my ultimate goal of running again (knows how to motivate the right choices).

He challenges my old athletic mindset that taught me to push through pain, which helps me govern my work ethic so that I don’t set myself back in my healing. He checks in on my progress by text, which is just the right amount of support long distance to keep me on track with the rehab game plan.
